How does the exam work?
KNS is one of the three parts of the basic civic integration exam abroad. You take it on a computer at the Dutch embassy or consulate. The KNS exam has a fixed set of 100 questions with photos about the Netherlands: what the country looks like, how people treat each other and which rules apply. Every question has two answers — A or B. On the exam you get 30 of them; you pass from 21 correct answers. Beforehand you get 2 example questions to get used to it; those do not count.
How can you practise here?
Here you practise those questions in two ways. You can practise the questions one by one: you hear them in Dutch, have them translated and read aloud in your own language with one click, and questions you get wrong come back until you know them. Or you take a practice exam: 30 questions in a row, with your result at the end.

Laws and how people behave
The constitution, elections, equal rights for men and women, freedom of religion and freedom of speech.
Housing, work, healthcare and school
The GP and health insurance, looking for work and job interviews, compulsory education and how schooling is organised.
